Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) – Children claiming their 3/4year old free entitlement may also be able to claim an additional allowance to support their individual child’s needs at the setting. Please ask Manager for details of the criteria and how to apply.

We have a uniform polo shirt, sweatshirt and fleece in maroon – order forms available.  Please ask the manager.

The playgroup provides protective clothing for the children when they play with messy activities, but please don’t send them in best clothes as we don’t want them worrying about spoiling anything.

Snacks and packed lunches

Chislet and District Playgroup make snack time a social time at which children and adults eat together. We provide fruit and a healthy carbohydrate e.g. breadstick or cracker at snack-time and a choice of milk or water to drink. We use snack-time to celebrate birthdays and special occasions during the year. Do tell us about your child’s dietary needs and we will make sure that these are met.

We ask parents to provide a healthy packed lunch (no chocolate or sweets) with a non-fizzy drink if their child is staying until 12.45pm; as this helps us to re-inforce healthy lunch boxes for everyone.
